

While our smartphones can shoot 8K, a 4K-based camera is quite common. We no longer need Final Cut Pro or a desktop with i7 to edit videos, neither do we need to enroll in professional editing courses. Thanks to the ever-evolving smartphone processors, we can now shoot, edit, and publish videos available openly to the entire world. YouTubers, content creators, and content strategists are new yet established terms, which means tasks like video editing aren’t uncommon.

In 2021, the aforementioned statement would be thought of a being old school. Unfortunately, editing videos is an understated skill, mostly deemed “post-production.” There was a time when video editors only edited films and television content with professional equipment. That beautiful final product is an effort of a multitude of people, including a video editor.
